Doves of Peace

Image from “Oracle of Visions”, by Ciro Marchetti (2011, Self-Published).

“It is time to let the past be in the past – to let go of the ties that bind me, that hold me back.” Anon-ar thought to herself. She was in a modern new world, where an iron gate was a thing of beauty, a gateway into a world filled with hopes,  dreams and joy.

She looked down at her feet, where the visuals of her past lay – little holographs of paths taken, paths that had not expressed the promise that they seemed to hold in the beginning. The Doves began to fly softly around her, making a humming noise with their wings that vibrated throughout her body. Through them she was changing, through them she felt peace.

It was time to turn and enter the gate, and become a part of her new world.
