Scan is the Ace of Cups, from the “Deviant Moon Tarot” (Patrick Valenza, U.S. Games Systems, Inc., 2008)
Tears, tears, and more tears. There had been nothing but tears since Alain had left so abruptly. She had grown numb through the tears. For many months she had isolated herself, seeing no one, throwing herself into her work. As a result, she had won a major award, and was offered the chance to do a showing at the Ameran Gallery. She wasn’t hesitant at all – life was moving forward, opening up in many new ways.
The sun seemed to be shining on her. Indeed it was the day that she went to lunch with the gallery owner, Alejandro LeClerc. The lunch was at a small, out of the way restaurant, where she was made to feel special, as an artist and as a person. Alejandro was all things that she thought Alain would be (only, he wasn’t). She wasn’t afraid to open her heart to him – she intuitively knew that where she was in life was where she belonged, and that the person in her life was the one that belonged there.
Hugging herself in disbelief, Marie began to dress for her opening, in the shimmering golden dress that Alejandro had chosen for her.
