It’s Almost Time

Looking around the table, the Leader began to speak. “As you can all see, it is almost time. This project has been a long time in the making. We cannot be sure how it will go once it is implemented. If it goes well, our job is to stand by and provide support. If it goes badly … well, if it goes badly, we will be taking the survivors to a safe place, where they can heal. We have done our job, now we shall see how well the Healers have done theirs.”

There was a slight rustling around the table.

“You have all done your part. The Master has no problem with that. All we can do now is wait and see.”

With that, there was movement around the table – wings were unfolding in a blaze of light. There were nods to the Leader, the Archangel Michael, as they filed out of the room.
