And The Beat Goes On

Evelyn kicked off her shoes as she turned the music on. It had been a long day, and was going to turn into an even longer night. She picked up her glass and took a sip, as she gazed out of the window into the night. The skyline was beautiful … this is one of the many things that she like about the city. The night had so much to offer. The days … well, the work world was more of a fantasy than the nights were. her days were filled with people focused on their own agendas. The nights … well, nights were for music.
