The View

He stood there, looking out the window. It was always exciting to be in a foreign country … the people, the sights, the food … what more could one ask for! The shows yesterday and last night had gone well … the audiences were fully involved, which helped them keep the energy up.

Checking his laptop one last time, he picked up his hat, grabbed his briefcase, along with his suitcase, and headed out the door, for the elevator. There would be a car downstairs, waiting to take them to the airport. They would be a good 30 minutes in the air before the explosion hit.
