I couldn’t do anything to stop it, you know. The cat door was there, and the raccoon came through at will. Sometimes all three of them came through at will – the mother (very protective), a very shy baby that I thought was probably female, and a very aggressive litter mate that I thought was probably male.
They came in to eat the dry cat food … which all of my friends said was a bad thing … feeding them would encourage them to stay around, and they can be destructive when they want to. My cats stayed away from them, and weren’t upset when the raccoons came in to eat, so all was well. Life has some beautiful stories!
