Last Dance

last dance

Jeanine smiled as she looked around. They were seated in a fashionable lounge, with their drinks in front of them. The music was playing softly in the background. It had been a wonderful evening – Geoff had hired a limo, brought her flowers, and taken her to the best restaurant in the city. Now they were sitting in her favorite piano lounge, waiting for an old and beloved friend to sit down at the piano and start playing.

Without her saying a word, Geoff had known. This was to be her last dance, and he wanted her to go out in style.
