Eye of the Storm

I think back over those times … they were always so put together, so elegant. Smiling as they posed for the cameras. Going to all of the best parties, signing big contracts … everyone would agree that they were stars in t heir own right. There was another side to this picture,though … a side that not many people got to see.

He wanted to set the rules, she wanted to live by her own rules. He lived for his work, she lived to party. Well, truth be told, she lived to party because she never felt a real part of his life. In the end, it didn’t matter. Their life consumed both of them.

  1. That reminds me of the movie I saw last night on our free trial of Cinemax titled Marilyn. It was about Marilyn Monroe but the part I’m referring to is her marriage to Joe DI Maggio.
